北京中国国际旅行社有限公司（简称北京国旅）成立于1958年6月,隶属中国国旅和首都旅游两大集团.50年来，伴随着共和国的脚步成长壮大。特别是改革开放以来，各项业务的到了突飞猛进的发展。最高年接待人数超过29万，截至2007年10月在北京地区已经累计接待来自世界各国和地区的旅游者550万人，成为全国历史最久、最具实力的旅行社之一。北京国旅积50年招揽接待中外旅游者的经验，形成了一整套科学严谨的管理体系，为北京乃至全国旅游业培养输送了一大批骨干人才。北京国旅深得国内外朋友的信赖，她的品牌已成为信誉和质量的保证。这些成绩的取得是几代北京国旅人共同努力的结果，在这里我谨向曾经为北京国旅的发展做出贡献的员工表示衷心的感谢。向多年来给予北京国旅关注、支持、合作的中外朋友表示诚挚的谢意。

回顾过去，历史辉煌。展望未来，信心满怀。我们有一支高素质的旅游管理、销售、导游队伍，有视服务质量为企业生命的理念。业绩已经成为过去。我们一定要从零开始，以更加积极务实的态度，竭诚为中外游客服务。经过改革的洗礼，北京国旅决心在新的世纪再创辉煌，为我国的旅游事业做出应有的贡献。

Message From The General Manager

Founded in June, 1958 and now under China’s two leading tourism groups – China International Travel Service Group and The Beijing Tourism Group. Beijing China International Travel Service Co., Ltd (CITS, Beijing) has witnessed a rapid business growth over the past 50 years, particularly since China’s opening up and reform. Being one of the oldest and most experienced travel services in China, CITS Beijing is able to serve some 290,000 tourists by their various requests in one year at her most. By the end of October, 2007 5.5 million tourists from all over the world have come to visit Beijing through CITS Beijing since her founding. The 50 year’s experiences in organizing and handing different types of tour groups has laid a solid foundation for a scientific and strict management system. No wonder CITS Beijing can serve and a cradle having trained a large number of professional for many enterprises in tourism industry throughout the country. Thanks to the achievements, CITS Beijing has won trust from our clients and guests both at home and abroad. CITS Beijing has become a famous brand and an guarantee of quality service. However, we are aware that the achievement we have made come from all their hard efforts of the staff and management of CITS Beijing for generations. Allow me to express my heartfelt thanks to them and at the same time to the friends both Chinese and Foreign who have always given us support, attention and cooperation.

Looking back, we had a glorious past; Looking ahead, we are having a bright future. We are confident because we have a qualified team of management, of sales and of guiding and a firm concept that we see the qualified service as the life of an enterprise. We are determined to make double efforts to improve service in order to contribute more to the tourism industry.
